We’re not talking about the Belgian Ale. We’re talking about "Blue Moon of Kentucky," a waltz written in 1946 by bluegrass musician Bill Monroe and recorded by his band, The Blue Grass Boys. It’s become the official Bluegrass song of Kentucky. The song has been covered by artists such as Elvis Presley and was added to the United States Library of Congress National Recording Registry in 2003. That’s cool because we’ve decided to add this Kentucky Heavy Blend Hoodie into the US Library of Congress National Design Registry of Awesomeness, which doesn’t actually exist.
“The Blue Moon of Kentucky” may not be the state’s official anthem, but it’s the state’s official bluegrass song. We didn’t know there was a difference, not with Kentucky anyway. Oh we see, the anthem has to have a sense of decorum to it. Screw that, just have dueling banjos be the state anthem. We don’t think anyone will care. Just like they won’t care about our XXKeyword01XX.
