Can anyone guess as to why Nebraska is called “The Cornhusker State”? Hmmmm? Ironically, the state took its nickname from the University of Nebraska athletic team the Cornhuskers, and not the other way around. But of course, cornhusking is what a lot of settlers did before there was the invention of husking machinery. Today, Nebraska is considered the breadbasket of the US and much of the world and is known for its production of beef, pork, corn, and soybeans. It’s a state that deserves to be recognized with this Nebraska Heavy Blend Zipper Hoodie.
The early settlers of Nebraska fought drought, insects, and other adverse conditions and still managed to turn the arid soil into rich farmland. Now that’s dedication. Maybe we’d give them some awesome XXKeyword01XX if they were still around, but they’d probably just glare at us. Those are farmers that we wouldn’t want to mess with.
