    Illinois Apparel for All Proud Illini, Not Just Chicago!

    The slow orchestral music starts and the low croon of Ol’ Blue Eyes soon follows. Having grown up hearing the old standard, your ears immediately perk up. You hate to admit it; it’s not like Frank Sinatra is Top 40 radio in the 21st century, but you smile and start to mouth the words to yourself. No matter what mood you had previously been in, nor if you even reside in that ‘Kind of Town’, your lips have formed a mile wide grin! City and State Shirt proudly supports this hometown pride with a line of Illinois apparel! The Land of Lincoln will never leave your heart, even if the state line is miles away! Our Illinois clothing is for those who know no matter how bad their sports teams may be, they will always be in the stands cheering their heart out! But who are we kidding? Thanks to the place we honor with our Windy City apparel, sports domination seems to be plentiful… well except for at Soldier Field! But Blackhawks and Bulls and Cubs, oh my! Anyone sporting some Chicago apparel has a lot to be prideful of – even if your brand of baseball is from the South Side or all the way down south with some red birds in another state! We’ll just leave that debate in fandom for you all to sort out in the stands! Yet no matter where your sports allegiances lie, we are sure all Illini will admit that they always find themselves comparing the Prairie State to other places either lived or visited! And we are sure that the results are very similar as anyone who would sport any one of our Illinois t shirts will declare: Illinois is the earthy version of the Promised Land! Residents will surely have their own city loyalties. Our Windy City clothing is a bit hit with many inhabitants of the 21st State of the Union. We are unsure if their love of our Chicago hoodies and clothing is because of actual hometown pride, or that they are sick of having to answer questions about the city even if they have never been there! Yes, it is possible for someone sporting a Windy City shirt to have never lived in the nation’s Second City, but outsiders will always assume everywhere in the Garden of the West is close to Chicago. Yet even if you are donning a Chicago shirt in hometown pride, you know deep in your heart that it truly belongs to all of Illinois!
